Turkish defense giant signs MoU with Ukrainian STE

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's leading defense company Aselsan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ukrainian STE company.

According to the MoU, the military radios and internal communication systems will be produced in Ukraine.

The MoU was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of Aselsan Haluk Gorgun and Acting Director General of STE Vladislav Belbas.

Aselsan attended the 15th Arms and Security Fair held in Kiev and exhibited its radar systems, military and professional radio product range, electro optic systems and remotely controlled weapon systems, a statement by the company said.

Number of senior managers from various companies visited Aselsan's stand during the fair and have been informed about the functions and capabilities of the company.

The 15th International specialized exhibition “Arms and Security 2018 ” — held in Kiev between Oct. 9 and 12 — focuses on weapons and equipment for army and law enforcement, as well as arms for civilians, according to its website.
