Turkey's first lady visits 300-year-old German hospital

BERLIN (AA) – Turkey's first lady visited largest university hospital of Germany with her counterpart Elke Budenbender on Friday.

Emine Erdogan was informed about treatment of diseases regarding women's health at the Berlin Charite Hospital, which has history dating back three centuries.

A scientists' delegation, including Turkish-origin deputy chief physician of the hospital Dr. Gulhan Inci, made a presentation to Erdogan about the works of the hospital.

The delegation emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary studies conducted in the scientific world to prevent cancer diseases spreading all over the world, and informed about complementary medical studies.
