Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up 0.53% at close

ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index closed the day at 120,791.86 points on Monday, up 0.53% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index started the day at 120,981.96 points. As of the daily close, it earned 640.42 points from last week's close of 120,151.44 points.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $57.30 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Monday.
