Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran to meet on Tuesday

ANKARA (AA) – The sixth trilateral meeting between the foreign ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Iran will be held in Istanbul on Tuesday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said Sunday.

“During the meeting, the ministers will discuss opportunities to further cooperation among three countries and exchange views on current regional developments, ” the ministry said in a statement.

The last trilateral meeting of foreign ministers was held in Baku, Azerbaijan in 2017.

The trilateral meeting mechanism contributes to the enhancement of cooperation on the basis of common interests and consolidation of regional prosperity, stability and security.
