ANKARA (AA) – Turkey’s foreign minister on Monday congratulated his Sudanese counterpart Monday on her taking office.
In a phone conversation, Mevlut Cavusoglu commended Mariam Sadiq al-Mahdi on her appointment as foreign minister of the North African country, according to diplomatic sources.
Sudanese Prime Minister Abdallah Hamdok last Monday announced a major Cabinet reshuffle, bringing in 25 new ministers, including Mahdi.
