Sivasspor beat Denizlispor 1-0, jumps to 3rd spot

ANKARA (AA) – Malian player Mustapha Yatabare helped Demir Grup Sivasspor defeat Yukatel Denizlispor in Turkish Super Lig game with a 1-0 score.

Yatabare broke the deadlock in the 45th minute as the 34-year-old found the net with a close finish at Yeni 4 Eylul Stadium.

With this victory, Sivasspor moved to the third spot with 52 points in 27 matches.

Meanwhile, Denizlispor were down to 10 men in the 44th minute when Zeki Yavru was sent off.

As of Friday, the league matches resumed with strict commitment to coronavirus measures following the suspension of the league in March.

The games in Turkey are currently held without fans as part of coronavirus measures.
