Round 3 of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague gets underway

ISTANBUL (AA) – The third round of the 2018-2019 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season kicked off Thursday.

At home, Russia's CSKA Moscow defeated Turkey's Darussafaka 79-75.

EuroLeague competitions bring Europe's top basketball clubs together.

Sixteen teams are competing this season — four Spanish, three Turkish, two Russian, two Greek and one team each from Germany, Italy, Israel, Lithuania and Montenegro.

The Turkish teams are Anadolu Efes, Fenerbahce and Darussafaka.

On Friday, the last EuroLeague finalist Fenerbahce will play against Lithuania's Zalgiris at 1745 GMT in away match.

In away match, Anadolu Efes will face Russia's Khimki at 1700 GMT.

Thursday:

CSKA Moskova (Russia) – Darussafaka Tekfen (Turkey) 79-75

Buducnost VOLI (Montenegro) – Maccabi FOX (Israel) 68-78

Panathinaikos (Greece) – Herbalife Gran Canaria (Spain) 102-87

Barcelona Lassa (Spain) – Bayern Munich (Germany) 83-73

Friday:

Khimki (Russia) – Anadolu Efes (Turkey)

Zalgiris (Lithuania) – Fenerbahce (Turkey)

Olympiakos (Greece) – AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan (Italy)

Real Madrid (Spain) – Baskonia (Spain)
