DOHA (AA) – Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani on Wednesday met with Ali Erbas, the head of Turkey's Religious Affairs Directorate (Diyanet), in capital Doha.
The PM thanked Erbas and his accompanying delegation for the visit, according to an Anadolu Agency correspondent who covered the reception.
Erbas, for his part, stressed the need to enhance religious, strategic, economic, political and cultural ties between the two friendly states.
The Turkish official arrived in Qatar on Tuesday for a two-day visit after having visited Jordan on Monday.
