PARIS (AA) – A mosque in the French city of Bordeaux has been targeted by supporters of the PYD/PKK terrorist group, who vandalized it and spray painted threats against the Turkish Muslim community on its walls.

Emre Durmus, head of a mosque association belonging to the Islamic Community-National Vision (IGMG), told Anadolu Agency Monday assailants wrote the name of the PKK/YPG terror group, and phrases like “we will come back” on the mosque wall Sunday night.

“I condemn the attack on the mosque,” Durmus said, adding that the Turkish society living in Europe “should not be provoked”.

He recalled the terror group had attacked another mosque in Bordeaux two years back.

The PYD/PKK terror group supporters in Europe had also vandalized mosques in Germany and the Netherlands recently.

The PYD/PKK is the Syrian offshoot of the PKK terrorist group, which has been designated as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and the EU.
