Palestinian injured by Israeli fire in West Bank

JERUSALEM (AA) – A Palestinian man was injured by Israeli gunfire in the occupied West Bank on Monday, according to the Israeli military.

In a statement, the army said Israeli soldiers opened fire on two Palestinian suspects after reports of shooting near the Mevo Dotan settlement in the northern West Bank.

It said one of the suspects were injured and detained, while the second fled the scene.

The army said a manhunt has been launched for the second suspect.

There was no comment from Palestinian authorities on the report.
