WASHINGTON (AA) – Multiple casualties were reported after a gunman opened fire at a synagogue in the state of Pennsylvania on Saturday.
The shooting occurred at the Tree of Life Congregation Synagogue in Pittsburgh at around 10 a.m. local time (1400GMT), according to reports.
U.S. President Donald Trump said law enforcement officials were on the scene.
“People in Squirrel Hill area should remain sheltered. Looks like multiple fatalities. Beware of active shooter. God Bless All! ” said Trump on Twitter.
