ANKARA (AA) – Maccabi FOX ended EuroLeague leaders Efes' 11-game winning streak Wednesday, beating them 77-75 in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv.
Playing at the Menora Mivtachim Arena, Maccabi FOX’s American-born Turkish point guard Scottie Wilbekin was the highest scorer of the game with 21 points.
U.S. center Othello Hunter made a double-double to score 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
Israeli player Yovel Zoosman added 11 points for his team.
For the losing side, Vasilije Micic and Krunoslav Simon scored 14 points each while French shooting guard Rodrigue Beaubois finished with 13 points.
Maccabi FOX are now in fourth spot with 19 wins and 8 losses.
Anadolu Efes have already qualified for the playoffs with 23 wins in 27 EuroLeague games.
