Galatasaray hands Kasimpasa first loss of season

ISTANBUL (AA) – Galatasaray handed Kasimpasa its first loss of the season Friday with a 4-1 a victory at home as the two teams switched positions at the top of the Turkish Spor Toto Super Lig.

Eren Derdiyok opened the scoring in the 55th minute at Turk Telekom Stadium.

Four minutes later, Garry Rodrigues doubled the lead for Galatasaray.

Rodrigues added a second goal in the 65th minute.

Kasimpasa's Mbaye Diagne penalty goal in 76th minute went against the trend. The referee used the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system to confirm his penalty decision.

A minute later, Galatasaray scored again when Serdar Aziz ended the scoring.

Before the loss, Kasimpasa's had won after 4 in a row in the Turkish Spor Toto Super Lig.

Galatasaray now has 12 points, leading the league table by goal average.
