Football: Results of top 5 European leagues

By Fatih Erel</p> <p>ISTANBUL (AA) – Liverpool in Premier League, Barcelona in La Liga, Juventus in Serie A, Borussia Dortmund in Bundesliga and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in Ligue 1 continue to rule their leagues in Europe.</p> <p>In the English Premier League, Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 4-3 to reach 60 points, followed by Manchester City with 56 points. </p> <p>The reigning champion Manchester City defeated Huddersfield Town 3-0 while Fulham lost to Tottenham 2-1, Manchester United beat Brighton &amp; Hove Albion 2-1 and Arsenal won against Chelsea 2-0.</p> <p>Ole Gunnar Solskjaer became the first Manchester United coach to win his first six league matches in charge.</p> <p>In Spanish football league La Liga, Barcelona defeated Leganes 3-1 and won 7 matches in a row and remained at the top position of the league with 46 points. </p> <p>Real Madrid beat Sevilla 2-0 while Atletico Madrid defeated Huesca 3-0.</p> <p>The leader Barcelona were followed by Atletico Madrid with 41 points. Real Madrid tailed it with 36 points and Sevilla with 33 points.</p> <p>In Italy's Serie A, Napoli beat Lazio 2-1 while Roma defeated Torino 3-2.</p> <p>The leader Juventus will play against Chievo at home on Monday.</p> <p>Juventus is on the top of the league with 53 points.</p> <p>In Germany's Bundesliga, the leader Borussia Dortmund beat Leipzig to reach 45 points while reigning champion Bayern Munich defeated Hoffenheim 3-1 to win 6 matches in a row and remained 6 points away from top of the league.</p> <p>In France's Ligue 1, the leader PSG beat Guingamp 9-0 with hat-tricks by Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani to remain at the top of the league with 53 points.
