Football: Monaco call Onyekuru back from Galatasaray

ANKARA (AA) – French Ligue 1 club Monaco have called Henry Onyekuru back from a loan stint with Galatasaray.

Onyekuru's loan to Galatasaray ended June 30.

The Turkish club said Onyekuru did not attend training Thursday because negotiation talks between Monaco and Galatasaray to extend Onyekuru's loan deal have not had positive result.

Galatasaray said negotiations continue between the clubs, and they do not owe payment to Onyekuru nor Monaco.

The 23-year-old Nigerian winger moved to the Turkish club from Monaco during the winter 2020 transfer window.
