Football: Besiktas profit after rivals shed points

By Fatih Erel</p> <p>ISTANBUL (AA) – Besiktas were the only Istanbul team to win their match in week 14 in Turkey's Spor Toto Super Lig after rivals Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Basaksehir, and Kasimpasa all dropped points.</p> <p>Late Monday, Fenerbahce drew Kasimpasa 2-2 at home in Istanbul. With this result, Fenerbahce with 14 points stayed in 15th place in the league, 16 points from the leader Medipol Basaksehir, with Kasimpasa trailing in second place with 26 points. </p> <p>On Sunday, Besiktas defeated Galatasaray 1-0 in a derby match in Istanbul.
