ISTANBUL (AA) – Besiktas and Akhisarspor shared points with a goalless draw in Istanbul's Vodafone Park on Friday evening in the Turkish Super League.
Black Eagles star Ricardo Quaresma missed a penalty in the first half, and Akhisarspor was left with 10 men in the last 10 minutes, but neither team could break the deadlock.
The draw cost Besiktas two more points in the title race. They raised their points total to 22 after 12 matches.
After victories in their last two matches, Besiktas was unable to make it a straight three wins.
