ANKARA (AA) – Istanbul-based football heavyweights Besiktas lost to Antalyaspor 2-3 in Turkish Spor Toto Super Lig on Sunday.
Antalyaspor’s striker Souleymane Doukara scored two goals, while midfielder Yekta Kurtulus scored the third one at Besiktas’ Vodafone Park Stadium in Istanbul in the first half.
Besiktas’ striker Alvaro Negredo scored the only goal for his team in the first half.
Defender Pepe scored the second goal of the home team in the second half.
Besiktas’ newly loaned German goalkeeper Loris Karius watched the game from the tribunes.
