BELGRADE, Serbia (AA) – Bosnian Croat President-elect Zeljko Komsic on Wednesday visited the Anadolu Agency office in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo.

Komsic from the Democratic Front (DF) is set to serve a third four-year term following Sunday's elections.

Hakan Celik, editor of the Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian (BHS) service for Anadolu Agency, gave him a tour of the office.

Founded in March 11, 2012, the BHS service marks its sixth anniversary in 2018.

Komsic wished good luck to the employees during a brief chat and expressed his desire to work in close cooperation with Anadolu Agency after he officially takes office.

The BHS service has 110 subscribers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, and Croatia. Every day it publishes an average of 80 news stories, 250 photos, and 25 videos.

Answering questions of Anadolu Agency reporters, Komsic pointed out the possible coalition scenarios in the country.

He said that for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Democratic Action Party (FBIH) and Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) would form the skeleton of the coalition.

For Republika Srpska (RS), one of the two constitutional and legal entities of the country, Komsic said, the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) is the winner of the elections and therefore will form the coalition.

With over 84 percent of votes tallied from Sunday’s general elections, two seats in the country’s tripartite presidency have clear winners, with a claim of victory in the third.

There are three members of the nation’s presidency — one Serb, one Bosniak, and one Croat — with a rotating chairmanship.

Milorad Dodik from the SNSD declared victory for the Serb seat with 53.8 percent of the votes tallied.

With 51.5 percent of the vote, incumbent Zeljko Komsic from the DF is set to serve a third four-year term.

With 37.1 percent of the vote, Sefik Dzaferovic, the candidate of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), claimed he is leading the Muslim Bosniak seat.

According to election authorities, 53.35 percent of voters — or 1.73 million people — cast ballots at 5,794 polling stations.
