ANKARA (AA) – Palestinians will never forget the efforts of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency President Serdar Cam for Palestine, Palestinian Ambassador to Turkey Faed Mustafa said Thursday.
Mustafa made the remarks at a ceremony inside the Palestinian embassy in Ankara when he presented the Palestinian “Order of Merit and Excellence” medal to Cam.
The TIKA president appreciated the medal as a reflection of Palestinian people’s love for Turkey.
Mustafa praised the Turkish agency for being there for Palestinians whenever humanitarian aid was needed. He noted TIKA’s projects that provided relief to Palestinian people living under Israeli occupation.
TIKA gave $400 million in aid to Palestinians during the last 10 years in the Gaza Strip, West Bank and Jerusalem, Mustafa said.
