Anadolu Efes beat Panathinaikos in EuroLeague

ISTANBUL (AA) – The seventh round of the 2018-2019 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season continued on Friday night.

Turkey's Anadolu Efes beat Greece's Panathinaikos 78-62 at home in Istanbul on Friday.

Spain's Barcelona also beat Lithuania's Zalgiris 88-85 in an away match.

Meanwhile, at home, Germany's Bayern Munich is facing Russia's CSKA Moscow, while, Spain's Herbalife Gran Canaria is playing against Israel's Maccabi FOX at home on Friday night.

On Thursday, the last EuroLeague finalist Turkey's Fenerbahce beat Olympiakos 73-72 in an away match in Athens.

Turkey's Darussafaka Tekfen was defeated by Italy's AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan 92-98 at home in Istanbul on Thursday.

EuroLeague competitions bring Europe's top basketball clubs together.

Sixteen teams are competing this season — four Spanish, three Turkish, two Russian, two Greek and one team each from Germany, Italy, Israel, Lithuania and Montenegro.

Turkey is in the tournament with Anadolu Efes, Fenerbahce and Darussafaka.
