On Oct. 6-7, 2014, two police officers and 31 civilians were killed by PKK terrorists following an unauthorized demonstration, which started with the call of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), on the pretext of Daesh terror group’s attack in Ayn al-Arab (Kobani), a northern Syrian city.

During the operation, 23 suspects were arrested in Izmir province, 15 in Van, 14 in Adana, 15 in Erzurum, 13 in Mardin, six in Kars and two in Mus.
